Life Lessons from Nature

Life Lessons from NATURE

Nature is the physical world and everything in it, (such as plants, animals, mountains, oceans, stars, etc) that is not made by people. It controls what happens in the world.Nature is the most important thing for people in this world, and I think we can’t live without nature. Nature has give us so many benefits that we can’t count.Unfortunately, mostly people  do not realize that nature is that important.People still do something that damaging the environment, such as littering, use motorcycle, etc. They haven’t had any awareness to take care of nature and they haven’t realize that they will get disadvantage if they damaging the environment . So, we must take care for nature and use it properly, before it changes.

Beside that, nature also teach us some lessons that mostly people do not realize it.So, here are what we can learn from nature.

1.Inspiration from the sun

Do you know what sun is? Everybody knows that sun is the star that the earth moves around. Sun also gives earth heat and light.Sun rising beautifully every morning. And do you know what it means? It means that however the dark night was, there will be brightness. So,  if nothing feels well, we still have the next morning sun to look forward to! It also make us ready for the day ahead.

2.Learn to face any difficulty from rivers

Water in the river continues to flow, no matter it is clean or dirty places. It passes through lakes, marsh, rice field and also gutter. And, wherever it is, the water always give benefits to other creatures and the places where it passed. So, the best lesson from rivers are we have to face every difficulty with equal energy and flow with whatever the outcome is.

3.Overpower the impossible from mountains

Mountain is an area of land that rises very high above the land around it. It is higher than a hill. When we look at the mountains, the first thought is its strength. It means ,we have to discover that ‘impossible is nothing’ , if we are strong mentally, there’s no one can stop us from  achieving  our dreams. So, we have to be strong as strong as a mountain!

4.Generosity from nature

Nature have been exploited and not taken care of by humans. But, nature still give us human needs. It keeps being generous and patient with all the harm that cause by humans. It teach us that others can be selfish and get what they want but we have to be selfless and happy getting what the other really needs. Nature teaches us to recognize this different.

5.Love yourself from beaches

When our daily schedules seems to be boring and we need some break, nature provides amazing corner, such as beaches and islands to help find our mind in peace. The synchronization between sun and water of splashing colours over each other make us take the important of that one person who would like yourself to sync in with forever.

From the points above, we can recognize that nature is that important for us, because it has many benefits for human needs, and also it has some life lessons that we can learn from it. So, we have to take care about nature properly.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, astrologer geographer and a scholar in the House of Wisdom in Baghdad. He was born in Persia of that time around 780. Al-Khwarizmi was one of the learned men who worked in the House of Wisdom. Al-Khwarizmi flourished while working as a member of the House of Wisdom in Baghdad under the leadership of Kalif al-Mamun, the son of the Khalif Harun al-Rashid, who was made famous in the Arabian Nights. The House of Wisdom was a scientific research and teaching center.

Al-Khwarizmi developed the concept of the algorithm in mathematics (which is a reason for his being called the grandfather of computer science by some people).

Some words reflect the importance of al-Khwārizmī's contributions to mathematics. "Algebra" is derived from al-jabr, one of the two operations he used to solve quadratic equations. Algorism and algorithm stem from Algoritmi, the Latin form of his name. His name is also the origin of (Spanish) quarismo and of (Portuguese) algarismo, both meaning digit.

Al-Khwarizmi’s algebra is regarded as the foundation and cornerstone of the sciences. To al-Khwarizmi we owe the world “algebra,” from the title of his greatest mathematical work, Hisab al-Jabr wa-al-Muqabala. The book, which was twice translated into Latin, by both Gerard of Cremona and Robert of Chester in the 12th century, works out several hundred simple quadratic equations by analysis as well as by geometrical example. It also has substantial sections on methods of dividing up inheritances and surveying plots of land. It is largely concerned with methods for solving practical computational problems rather than algebra as the term is now understood.

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi died in c. 850 being remembered as one of the most seminal scientific minds of early Islamic culture.

Facts about Lion

Facts about Lion
Renowned for its majesty and nicknamed "the king of the jungle," the lion possesses both beauty and strength. Lions vary in color but typically sport light yellow-brown coats. Mature male lions are unique among big cats due the thick brown or black manes that encircle their necks and protect them while fighting.
Lions consume a wide variety of prey, from wildebeest, impala, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and wild hogs to sometimes rhinos and hippos. They will also feed on smaller animals such as hares, birds and reptiles. Lions are also known to attack elephants when food is scarce.
The lion population in Africa has been reduced by half since the early 1950s. Today, fewer than 21,000 remain in all of Africa.
Though lions used to live in most parts of Africa, they are now found only in the south Sahara desert and in parts of southern and eastern Africa. Historically, in addition to Africa, lions were found from Greece through the Middle East to northern India.
Both male and female lions roar, and that roar can be heard over five miles away!
The only social member of the cat (Felidae) family, lions live in large groups called "prides," consisting of about 15 lions. Related females and their young make up the majority of the pride. A single male, or sometimes a small group of 2-3 males, will join a pride for an indefinite period, usually about 3 years or until another group of males takes over.
Lions within a pride are often affectionate and, when resting, seem to enjoy good fellowship with lots of touching, head rubbing, licking and purring. The males are territorial, and will roar and use scent markings to establish their domains.
Females do almost all of the hunting. They are mainly nocturnal and work in teams to stalk and ambush prey. Lions inhabit grassy plains, savannahs, open woodlands and scrub country. These landscapes allow the hunters to creep stealthily through vegetation and leap upon their unsuspecting prey.
Lions are the second largest living feline species, second only to the tiger.
Mating Season: Throughout the year.
Gestation: Around 110 days.
Litter size: 3-4 cubs.
Young cubs are vulnerable to predation by hyenas, leopards and black-backed jackals. The cubs begin hunting at 11 months but remain with their mother for at least two years.
Height: 4 feet (1.2m) (males).
Length: 5-8 feet (1.5-2.4m) (males).
Weight 330-500 lbs (150-227 kg) (males).
In general, female lions are smaller than males.
Lifespan: 10-14 years.
Top speed: 50 mph (81 km/hr), for short distances
These iconic predators—who once ruled from the southern tip of Africa all the way to northwestern India—are at risk of extinction by 2020.

It’s hard to believe a population can plummet so quickly. In the 1940s, an estimated 450,000 lions roamed across most of Africa and parts of Asia.

One of the most unique place in world for me is Legoland Malaysia. Why unique? Because this place has 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions which all made from lego. And now I’m going to describe about it.

Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia's first international theme park that has opened on 15 September 2012 with over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. Legoland Malaysia is located at Nusajaya, Johor Baru, Malaysia. It is the first Legoland theme park in Asia and sixth in the world upon its establishment.

Besides the Legoland Malaysia, other Lego-themed attractions nearby have been opened as of today. The first one,Legoland Water Park, a Lego-themed water theme park opened in 2013 and the other one, The Legoland Hotel, a Lego-themed hotel located at the theme park and also the first to open in Southeast Asia which opened in the first half of 2014. The hotel is built under a management agreement between the company and LL Themed Hotel Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company owned by Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd and Iskandar Harta Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The cost of Legoland Malaysia and the water theme park is RM720 million, while The Legoland Hotel costs RM190 million.Only halal-certified food served at the Market Restaurant of Legoland Malaysia. This includes local and foreign delicacies.

Legoland Malaysia's layout will start out with the park's main entrance area with the traditionally main entrance Legoland sight.
